We are proud to be one of the very few specialist contractors approved by Helifix^® Ltd, for the installation of their Helibeam Masonry Repair System.

This stress-free structural reinforcement and repair system provides a rapid, versatile and cost effective means of restoring structural integrity to buildings and structures where the masonry has cracked or failed and lost its load-bearing capabilities as a result of ground movements, weathering and/or increased loads and stresses.

Providing horizontal stress-free bed-joint reinforcement, the Helibeam system uses helical stainless-steel rods to tie the masonry together while creating deep masonry beams which distribute the structural loads. In combination with our other services, we can provide a comprehensive, non-disruptive and economical system of stabilisation and structural repair applicable to all commonly used construction materials and types of masonry structure.

At the heart of these techniques is the use of long lengths of HeliBar stainless steel reinforcing rods bonded into the masonry to a pattern predetermined by a structural engineer to rectify specific problems where masonry has lost its load bearing capabilities.

The rods, together with HeliBond grout, provide horizontal mortar bed reinforcement which ties the masonry together and forms deep masonry beams which support and distribute the building loads. No further stresses are introduced and stability is rapidly and economically restored.
